Texas A&M College College Athletics Consultant Paul Batista will proceed to function a member of the 2023-24 Southeastern Convention Government Committee, the league workplace introduced final month.
Dr. Batista, who was initially chosen to the SEC Government Committee in 2022, is an Affiliate Professor within the Sport Administration Division within the Division of Well being and Kinesiology inside the School of Training and Human Improvement, serving as Division Chair and Affiliate Division Head from 2010-2014. College of Alabama President Dr. Stuart Bell will start a two-year time period because the President of the SEC’s Government Committee beginning July 1, and College of Tennessee Chancellor Dr. Donde Plowman will start a two-year time period as Vice President of the committee whereas College of Mississippi College Consultant Ron Rychlak continues because the Secretary.
Becoming a member of the committee is College of Missouri President Dr. Mun Choi who will change into Vice President in 2025.
